Tisya Verma
Director
Tisya Verma is a freshman in high school. She believes that donating eyeglasses to those in need can greatly improve their lives in terms of education and profession. She is passionate about holding collection drives and manages all Sugar Land efforts. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, reading, playing the piano, and singing classical Indian music.
Arshia Verma
Co-Founder
Arshia Verma is a sophomore at UT Austin majoring in Neuroscience. She believes that SEE's mission is incredibly important, as good eyesight can play a large role in an individual's life, especially in education. As a volunteer for many causes, she spends most of her weekends giving back to the community. In her free time, she enjoys reading historical fiction, playing the piano, writing articles, and practicing taekwondo.
Akshara Viruthagiri
Co-Founder
Akshara Viruthagiri is a sophomore at UT Austin majoring in finance. She decided to create SEE with Arshia as a method to give those who are disadvantaged eyewear that will improve their lives. She has been wearing glasses since she was in the fourth grade, so she understands the disadvantages that poor eyesight can bring to one's day. In addition to SEE, she loves planning, listening to KPOP, and reading all sorts of fantasy novels.
